Something to Knit With Aran
In a range of ten of our favourite shades, this thicker cousin of our Something to Knit With 4Ply is brilliant for textural knits and bold colourwork. The blend of highland wool from Peru, and superfine alpaca, creates a yarn that's springy to knit with and blocks to a soft but hard-wearing fabric.
The Totally Tubular Mittens (for learning the tubular cast-on method) require 2 x 50 skeins of this yarn, and the Peaks and Troughs Hat (for learning double-knitting) uses 1 x 50g skein each of 3 different colours. Both of these designs are found in Boost Your Knitting.
All of the patterns in our eBook, Something New to Learn About Helical Knitting use Something to Knit With Aran.
Whether you fancy a quick-to-knit hat, like Fabales or Concentricity by Woolly Wormhead; or a stunning colourwork sweater, such as Treysta or Telja by Jennifer Steingass; Something to Knit With Aran is the perfect choice. There is a bundle of suggested patterns for our new yarn over in our Ravelry group: Patterns for Something to Knit With Aran
