Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques
Remember when you finally learned how to ride your bike? Wasn't that an awesome day? We haven't forgotten how great it felt to take the stabilisers off, so we've got a brand new year of learning for you to enjoy. Twelve new techniques, twelve patterns from twelve fabulous designers, twelve sets of photo and video tutorials, and most importantly, twelve opportunities for you to experience the joy of mastering something new!
Boost Your Knitting is a completely self-contained programme that will grow your skills and build your confidence in your knitting. It follows a similar format to our first book, A Year of Techniques, but does not require any previous knowledge from that collection.
This item costs £30.00 which includes worldwide shipping of the print book in September 2019.
Each month you will receive a digital photo tutorial and pattern file that will teach you a new skill to boost your knitting. Patterns are small (think accessories) and designed to be easily achievable in a month. Each pattern will also be accompanied by a video tutorial so that you have total confidence in exploring new knitting techniques.
There are also knitalongs to celebrate each technique that will run in our Ravelry group. The programme will run through to February 2020, with the videos and knitalongs happening each month. The knitalong threads and videos remain available indefinitely, so you can join Boost Your Knitting at any time and work through the techniques at your own pace. When you sign up after March 1st, you’ll receive all the patterns and tutorials released to date through our online shop and in your Ravelry library if you add it there too.
As well as all of this digital content, you will also receive a print copy of Boost Your Knitting: Another Year of Techniques, and these will be shipped in September 2019.
The first pattern in the programme is the Bramen Cowl by Nancy Marchant, which teaches tuck stitches. April's design is Joji Locatelli's Sterlyn Shawl, which features correcting mistakes in lace knitting. May's design is Sarah Hatton's Totally Tubular Mittens, which will teach you the 1x1 tubular cast on in the round. June's pattern is the Apple Swizzle Hat by Thea Colman, featuring dip stitches.
